Dance Festival Girls Group - Assembly Performance

What an awesome way to end a great season of dancing! Room 14 girls Annabel, Abby, Eva, Lola, Lily and Hannah (Yasmin was absent) performed in front of whole school assembly on Friday afternoon. They did incredibly well and looked fabulous with their full costumes and face paint done. Well done girls, you should be really proud of your excellent dancing!

Poetry Recital

Room 14 students did so well performing their poems in class. Lily and Thomas were chosen by their peers to represent our class at the Koru poetry recital.

Well done Lily (I Don't Want to Go into School Today) and Thomas (Dinosaurs) who did an incredible job in the recital! Also, Lola and Ethan did an amazing job as MC's for the whole recital, without even a practice! Great job Room 14.

Book Week!

Geronimo Stilton!

Party Planning - Statistics

Room 14 went through a party planning process over two weeks - gathering data and information for their statistics learning. They asked questions such as favourite types of Fruitburst lollies, how many chips do you get in each mini bag and what is your favourite balloon colour and shape? They then explored ways of collecting information, and displaying it in graphs.

Superstars at Spelling!

I love seeing the hard work students put in to spelling new, exciting words in their writing. Great job Ethan on your dinosaur 'Secret Writing' today!

Howick Pakuranga Dance Festival 2017!

Beachlands School has a great group of Year 2/3 girls in the school dance festival group, who have been practicing so hard on their Enchanted Forest / Zootopia routine for this year's Howick Pakuranga Schools Dance Festival. From Room 14, we have Hannah, Lily, Lola, Abby, Annabel, Eva and Yasmin representing us. They were wolves, foxes, bunnies, mice and bears. They performed last night at Elim College and put on a wonderful show. Our new principal, Mr Noble-Campbell, came and watched (that's his thumbs up you can see), as well as our assistant principal, Miss Dinnissen. Thank you so much for coming and supporting us! Well done girls, Mrs Smith (Room 3) and I are so proud of your hard work and dedication.
